mimycri is a team of people with and without refugee backgrounds who stand for social integration and regenerative action.
The two co-founders Nora and Vera started mimycri after their volunteer experience on the Greek island Chios during the high time of refugee arrivals in 2015/16. They created mimycri because they believe that by changing perspective, we can turn challenges into opportunities.
Together with their partner ANKAA Project in Athens, mimycri upcycles broken refugee rubber boats into high quality bags.
