Just a few days before Save the Planet 2018 starts in Sofia

Plovdiv, Bulgaria — Undoubtedly, the landscape of waste management in South-East Europe is changing and interest towards advanced solutions is increasing. So „Save the Planet“ is a must-attend event in the Region promoting how today’s available technologies can turn the environmental challenges into profitable opportunities. Combining ‚exhibition and conference‘ in its format, the initiative will gather internationally recognized participating companies and local key industry players.

„Save the Planet“ will open March 27th, and continue until the 29th in Sofia, Bulgaria. Reliable and environmentally friendly solutions will be presented by companies from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and The Netherlands. For the first time ISWA will be part of the exhibition and will promote services and programs for sustainable and professional waste management.

Congress topics include:

  • Recycling: equipment for sorting, shredding, washing dosing, re-granulation, compounding and extrusion; Knives and spare parts
  • Biowaste utilization: composting, fermentation, biomass mechanical-biological waste treatment, anaerobic digestion plants; Processing of refuse-derived fuels; Dryers
  • Waste-to-energy
  • Incinerators, hazardous waste treatment and disposal
  • Waste collection: containers, bins; Satellite navigation; Оn-board weighing and identification systems

The participation in the parallel Conference for South-East Europe 2018 is an opportunity to meet experts from the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water, RWS Environment the Netherlands, LIFE Programme, Wehrle Umwelt GmbH, Hitachi Zosen Inova, Cleantech Bulgaria. Circular economy and EU funding tool for the Environment and Climate Action will be the main highlights.

The 2018 Virtual Exhibition Section will facilitate the contacts among exhibitors and users of environmental solutions and technologies. It will be active not only before but also after the event.
