Brussels — In 2014, the AQSIQ licences (valid for 3 years) of about 500 overseas suppliers will expire and it is mandatory to apply for renewal 90 days prior to the expiration date. Companies failing to do so will see their licences cancelled after expiration and will be disallowed from exporting to mainland China.
So the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) asks its members to check if their AQSIQ licence expires on 31 December 2014. If this is the case, they must apply for renewal before 30 September 2014. Bir urges his members to follow the instructions posted on the BIR website under Legislation / China (the 2013 procedure still applies).
